| Hi,
|
| My own interest has pretty much moved on to MMU-less Forth-based
| environments (www.forthos.org). vsta.quackerhead.com was an effort to
| move forward with a branch of my last release, but it doesn't seem to
| have much going on, either.

There has been more recent changes on that branch than is shown on the
wiki (there was a server crach just a week ago so changes on the wiki >2
sept 2004 should be up in a couple of days).
But allmost all the discussion on that is on #vsta on irc.freenode.net

most of the work is concentrated on the kernel at the moment. The kernel
itself is already moved to elf, but plans are to move the userland and
bootservers to elf as well. Some people are also working on porting uvm
to vsta and replacing the scheduler with something similar to the linux
2.6 one. It should provide some performance enhancement.
One person is also working on a lwip port that newsham began.

But development on that branch is also pretty slow as most people have a
lot of IRL stuff going on.

/Erik
