Getting emacs to run

Hi,

I'm trying to run emacs under vsta 1.3.1 and having no luck. I have set
the TERM file to 'pc' and 'ibmpc' in both /env and /env/my_login. When
I run emacs is says that either of those are unknown terminal types, even
though I can find a valid entry in termcap in /vsta/lib/termcap for both.

Any suggestions would be most welcome.
