Context switch times

Hi All,

I'm still working on the performance of the VSTa kernel and now some of the
library functions as well, but I was wondering if anyone has a list of
context switch times for other O/S's?

Someone mentioned a comparison that was posted on comp.arch over a year ago
- does anyone know if that's archived somewhere?

BTW in case anyone's interested, I'm now working on DX/2-66 with 256k of
L2 cache (not a particularly good cache design though), and I now have perf1
showing a switch time of 105 us.
