REPOST: vstafs question

I received no replies to my question on how to make a
vstafs filesystem. I have DOS 6.2, and have made a logical
partition in the secondary partition of my C: disk.
I mounted a dos filesystem on it no problem (although
I couldn't see how to actually _use_ it...), as wd:wd0_p1
(that's from memory). Attempting to do a mkfs_vfs on that
same device just gives me the message "no entry".
