Re: alternative to Unicode

Actually, FSS-UTF is an external representation for the 16 bit Unicode
characters that is safe in a 7 bit environment. I am very well aware
of this, and plan to make a library for VSTa which will give us much
the same "universal locale" as AIX 4.1. It's not *that* easy though
because a lot of changes needs to be made in many places (regex,
printing etc.)
