Did you have a mouse driver running?

Well... svgalib doesn't cover chipsets as well as Windoze, and who knows if
I got the port right for your chipset (I don't have one of those, so I
couldn't test it). In these situations the most you can do is attach a
terminal the COM port (or bring up networking and telnet in) and go to work
with gdb on the mgr executable.
