I also have problems with 1.6.4, I don't have with 1.6.3. It seems to be in
the filesystem code. I can't remember more, but also I can't get mgr
running. Ich have a S3Virge/DX chipset and tried to force the VESA driver.

Normally the config file for mrg is in /etc/vga/libvga.con. Is this
compiled differently under vsta? If yes, why? Possibly the config file is
not read, because of this?
