It depends what you mean by "a cluster". Any VSTa message-based service on
a node running "proxyd" (in src/srv/ka9q/cmd) can be mounted from any other
node, and then the service accessed as if it was local. This includes
consoles, filesystems, disks, serial ports, and /proc. Process creation
probably needs to be converted to using message primitives, so that you can
create processes on arbitrary nodes (interestingly, QNX4 offers this, but
Quantum's next generation OS, Neutrino, does not (yet)). I suspect process
migration is not worth pursuing.
Does this make a VSTa cluster? Probably not. But it offers the critical
building blocks which I believe can be used to construct a cluster.
