NEC stuff

If you like, you can leave out the NEC stuff entirely. There are
a lot of small changes in kernel for the NEC VSTa version too. It's
probably easier for me to maintain the NEC version here (I know what
changes are needed, so I can produce a new version quickly. Last time
it took < 24 hours to port the source drop).

Glad you like the kdb console code.
