Hi All,
Has anyone taken a look at the dos fs code with a view to performance? I
ran some quick IOzone tests last night and noticed that whilst I'm hitting
about 75% of raw disk read performance through the dosfs, I'm only getting
about 20% of the performance for writes.
On a slightly unrelated point - can anyone tell me how much faster or slower
gcc 1.42 is at compiling things compared to say gcc 2.5.x or 2.6.x?
                                Regards,
                                Dave
