Changing the clock speed

Hi All,

Has anyone got an opinion about changing the value of HZ to 100 from 20?
I've done some quick tests (BTW this also involved changing RUN_TICKS to
give 4 swtch's per second instead of 3.333) on a 486SX-25 and it adds an
overhead of about 0.3 microseconds per context switch under perf1 and on a
DX/4-100 it's about 0.1. Extrapolating back I guess this means about 2
microseconds on a 386SX-16 (assuming around a 500 microsecond switch time).

The improved accuracy for timing events is really quite useful.

                                Regards,
                                Dave
