Let's please not let this degenerate into a Linux versus NetBSD shouting
match.

The only reason I mentioned Linux was that it makes a fine stick in the
sand. If we don't hit Linux's performance in some area, we can go look at
how Linux does it, maybe get some good ideas.

And fair is fair. If the Linux folks find good ideas in VSTa, I think all
SW benefits from the synergy.
