VSTa & Linux ext2fs filesystem

After emails from Bryan Ford <baford@schirf.cs.utah.edu>,
Francois-Rene Rideau <rideau@clipper.ens.fr>, Remy.Card@masi.ibp.fr,
and another kind person (T.T.?) whose email i've lost, i decided to
look into e2fsprogs-0.5b-WIP.tar.gz.

Among other things this contains a libext2fs which interfaces an
Ext2fs filesystem thru a parametrable IO "manager".

I believe this could be easily translated to a VSTa message
routines. This libext2 seem rather modular.

So, contrary to what i've said before, i will just take this libext2
and interface it to VSTa. I don't care about efficiency.

If i succeed (this means i don't want to spend too much time on it) I
will email patches to the VSTa mailing list and to Remy.Card.
All this is done at home on my spare time.
