I'm making progress in setting up VSTa development so more folks can work on
the central source without having to funnel through me. I have a copy of
CVS which purports to work over a network using rsh; I'm converting VSTa to
reside under CVS storage as I type this. When this is all set up, it should
be possible for an authorized person under Linux or BSD to commit changes to
the repository without having to wait for me. It will also allow anyone to
pull down a snapshot without having to wait for the next release.

I will, of course, continue to accept patches and such from anybody who
cares to work on VSTa!

I'm on the home stretch for the birth of our new cisco router platform.
Interestingly, my wife is also on the home stretch for the birth of our
first (real life) child. One of the biggest reasons for me to pursue such a
remote source system is that I want to allow development to continue even
if my personal time gets preempted for a while.
