gzip-1.2.4 running under VSTa

Hi all,

I now have gzip-1.2.4 running under VSTa. This again is cross built from
Linux (for now). If anyone wants this before Andy's next release, please
mail me.

There's one extra string function needed for libc and a sequence defined to
handle VSTa DOS FAT filesystems (to set the default extension). Otherwise,
it's just a modified makefile.
