Manual pages

Hi All,

I don't think there's been any discussion of which sections are used for
which types of manual page. Have I missed anything? I guess the section
numbers will be something like Plan 9:

        1) General commands
        2) Library functions
        3) Kernel devices
        4) File services
        5) Plan 9 file protocol
        6) File formats
        7) Databases and database access
        8) Administative commands
        9) Raster image software
        10) Cct design software

I'd guess something similar would be good, perhaps:

        1) General commands
        2) Library functions
        3) Machine specific device servers
        4) Machine independent servers
        5) VSTa file protocol
        6) File formats
        7) Database files
        8) Administrative commands

Does anyone have any comments? Has anyone (apart from Andy) started writing
manual pages yet :-)
