Hi, folks.

I have long filenames for the DOS filesystem fully working now. I've also
generalized the shared library support to make it easier to add more system
shared libraries, and I've converted libm to a shared library. regex and
termcap to follow! I've fixed lots of other, old minor irritants in the
process.

I also ported a PDP-11 emulator, and can now run V7 UNIX under the emulator
under VSTa. The juxtaposition of the two environments is very interesting!
And since V7 UNIX is in many ways the root of UNIX's "essence", it's very
powerful to be able to refer to the environment on demand, within a VSTa
window.

Since Plan 9's troff/nroff ported across just fine, I'll probably spend a
little time converting the manual page system to standard -man format. Then
maybe I'll push out a new version for anybody who wants to experiment. I
think we'll all be glad to leave 8.3 filenames behind for good!

Regards,
Andy Valencia
