ajvTerm is pretty simple, but there's still the inevitable
details.
First, the way to get into config mode is with control-Escape
(that is, hold the "ctrl" key and hit "esc").
Each menu item is cycled through its legal values when
you hit the corresponding function key.
The menu items are:
- F1 - Choose baud rate
- F2 - Choose text color
- F3 - Select whether bit 8 should be forced to 0
- F4 - Select whether a line feed happens when CR is received
- F5 - Make caps like normal, swap with ctrl, or make it an extra ctl
- F6 - Idle time for putting monitor in standby
- F7 - Select cursor shape
- ENTER - Save config
- Esc - Leave config mode
Unlike the "factory standard" firmware, the config is not saved
as it is changed. So you can try out a new config, but until
you hit ENTER in config mode, the config will revert to the old
one when you restart the terminal.
There doesn't seem to be any good way to do underlining, so the
terminal just uses inverse character for any display enhancement.
